The Doors celebra 50 años de “Morrison Hotel” con reedición de lujo

En febrero de 1970 The Doors estrenó su quinto disco de estudio “Morrison Hotel”, en el que la totalidad de las canciones fueron escritas por Jim Morrison y Robby Krieger. Así, en el 50 aniversario del lanzamiento, la banda celebrará con una reedición de colección remasterizada por Bruce Botnick.

El disco estará disponible a partir del 9 de octubre e incluirá el álbum original recientemente remasterizado por el ingeniero y mezclador Bruce Botnick de The Doors, además de un disco extra de tomas de estudio inéditas y el álbum original en vinilo virgen de 180 gramos.

“Hay muchas tomas, diferentes arreglos, comienzos en falso y conversaciones de estudio perspicaces entre la banda que estaba en el estudio, y el productor Paul Rothchild, que estaba en la sala de control. Es como ser una mosca en la pared”, comenta Botnick.

Entre las tomas inéditas también están las versiones preliminares de las canciones de “Morrison Hotel” como “Peace frog” y “Blue sunday”, así como “I will never B¿be untrue”.
