Entre 1995 y 2001, Green Day visitó la BBC un puñado de veces para tocar algunas sesiones en vivo. Ahora, esas pistas están siendo masterizadas por primera vez y compiladas en un álbum de 16 canciones titulado apropiadamente “The BBC Sessions”.
El proyecto incluye presentaciones en vivo de pistas de “Kerplunk”, “Dookie”, “Insomniac”, “Nimrod” y “Warning”.
Para celebrar el anuncio, Green Day compartió “2000 años luz de distancia (BBC Live Session)”.
El lanzamiento de “BBC Sessions” está programado para el 10 de diciembre y estará disponible en CD, digital y 2LP de edición limitada impresa en vinilo Sea Blue / Hot Pink.
