A partir del 14 de agosto los fans de David Bowie podrán disfrutar del nuevo disco en vivo y nunca antes editado, titulado “Something in the air (Live Paris 99)”.
Fue grabado en vivo en el Elysée Monmartre, mezclado por Mark Plati, con la participación musical de Page Hamilton en la guitarra, Gail Ann Dorsey en el bajo y voz, así como Mark Plati en la guitarra, Sterling Campbell en la batería, Mike Garson en piano, teclados y sintetizadores, además de Emm Gryner y Holly Palmer en los coros.
El álbum trae 15 rolas grabadas en concierto, 12 de ellas se lanzan por primera vez y tres son lados B del disco “Hours”. Entre las canciones destacadas se encuentran “Can’t help thinking about me”, “Word on a wing”, “Drive-in Saturday” y “Something in the air”.
El día del show, Bowie fue condecorado con el mayor honor artístico de Francia, el Commandeurs of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
