Los premios inaugurales iHeartRadio Podcast Awards presentados por Capital One®, se celebrarán el viernes 18 de enero de 2019 en el iHeartRadio Theatre de Los Ángeles. Con 22 categorías, el evento rendirá homenaje a los podcasts más entretenidos e innovadores de 2018, además de celebrar a los fanáticos de los podcasts, brindando a los oyentes la oportunidad de elegir a los ganadores en 17 de las 22 categorías con los podcasts “Atlanta Monster“, “Dirty John” “Hardcore History“, “Joe Rogan“, “Radiolab“, “Serial“, ” Slow Burn“, “Stuff You Should Know“, “The Daily” y “The Habitat” nominados para Podcast del año.
Organizado por Holly Frey, co-presentadora de “Stuff You Missed in History Class” (uno de los podcast de historia más grandes de hoy), Charlamagne Tha God, presentadora y Bobby Bones, el mejor presentador de radio de los Estados Unidos, personalidad multiplataforma y presentador del podcast líder en música country “Bobbycast” y creador de la Red de Podcast de Nashville.
El evento durará 90 minutos e incluirá a Transmisión en vivo organizada por Mario López, presentador de TV y a quien en México conocimos en la serie “Salvados por la campana”.
Entre los presentadores de la entrega de premios estarán a Payne Lindsay (“Up & Vanished“), Aaron Mahnke (“Lore“), Jake Brennan (“Disgraceland“) y Marc Smerling (“Crimetown”), con más por anunciar.
