“The Mountain” (así se llama) el nuevo disco de Gorillaz se estrenará el 20 de marzo de 2026 y como primera rola, la banda lanza “The happy dictator” en colaboración con Sparks.

Además, realizarán una pequeña gira en estadios del Reino Unido e Irlanda entre marzo y abril del año que viene.
Igual, prevén un concierto único como el show principal en el estadio Tottenham Hotspur el sábado 20 de junio.
Por la vestimenta de Murdoc y el título de la canción, sin duda se trata de una melodía crítica y hasta irónica, con una muy clara referencia al discurso final de la primera película con sonido de Charles Chaplin que se estrenó en 1940, “El gran dictador”, básicamente una sátira contra Hitler y Mussolini, acá puedes verlo:
