Los premios Golden Globe dieron a conocer su lista de nominados 2021, con ayuda de Sarah Jessica Parker y Taraji P. Henson.
Las primeras 12 categorías fueron transmitidas en E News y Jane Fonda es la merecedora del Premio Cecil B. DeMille de este año. Anteriormente, Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bridges y Meryl Streep, han recibido la presea.
Tina Fey (desde el Rainbow Room, en lo alto del Rockefeller Center de Nueva York) y Amy Poehler, conducirán el evento del 28 de febrero en el Beverly Hilton Hotel y se transmitirá por NBC.
La ceremonia de los Golden Globes se retrasó, debido a que la pandemia de COVID-19 sigue en curso, originalmente sucedería en el primer domingo del año.
