El mundo está de luto por la pérdida de la reina Isabel II, la segunda monarca con el reinado más largo de la historia.
El Palacio de Buckingham confirmó que su Majestad falleció a la edad de 96 años este jueves 8 de septiembre. Debido a que la Reina había luchado con problemas de salud durante varios años, los fans estaban emocionados de ver a la monarca de buen humor, mientras celebraba su Jubileo de Platino en junio.
“La Reina murió pacíficamente en Balmoral esta tarde”, anunció la Familia Real en su Twitter. “El Rey y la Reina Consorte permanecerán en Balmoral esta noche y regresarán a Londres mañana”.
Después de 70 años en el trono, es difícil imaginar un mundo en el que la reina Isabel ya no esté entre nosotros. Los miembros de la Familia Real, así como celebridades tanto del Reino Unido como del mundo entero expresan su sorpresa y dolor por la partida de la mujer histórica.
Muchas de estas celebridades han conocido a la Reina en eventos como el Royal Variety Performance televisado o incluso han recibido el título de caballero o dama de manos de Su Majestad por sus contribuciones a las artes.
