El jueves 25 de julio por la noche, Billy Joel concluyó su histórica residencia de una década en el Madison Square Garden con su show número 150 en el famoso recinto de la ciudad de Nueva York.
A mitad del set, el pianista invitó a Axl Rose para interpretar juntos un par de canciones. Así, el vocalista de Guns N’ Roses y “The piano man” tocaron “Live and let die” de Wings, del que Gun,s hizo un cover famoso en 1991, y “Highway to hell” de AC/DC.
Luego Joel tocó una serie de éxitos, incluidos “Piano man”, “We didn’t start the fire” y “Uptown girl”, antes de traer a Rose nuevamente para terminar el set con “You may be right”.
